BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Boise City Council will discuss the Customer Facility Charge (CFC) for airport rental cars in a meeting on Tuesday.
The CFC is a daily fee charged to users who rent a car from an on-airport rental car company.
The resolution that will be discussed in Tuesday's meeting is asking for approval to increase the CFC from $6.00/day to $6.50/day (up to 14 days). It would be effective April 1st.
The City of Boise says funds collected via the CFC go towards eligible projects that support rental car operations at the Boise Airport, like the upcoming Consolidated Rental Car Facility.
